There are two big private bus companies there that have pretty good websites and apps. I found the apps especially useful. They are Cortina Express and Dolomitibus. We took the Cortina Express bus from Venice Mestre station to Cortina, actually. The bus stop at Mestre is outside the main entrance and then WAY to the right, btw.
