I am not a pro. What I would consider is to cut that pipe away from the elbow and valve, taking care to not damage the fittings. Make a new ~4 inch piece of pipe of the same length as the leaky pipe. Free up the valve. Attach the new pipe on the valve at leisure. Clean off that elbow. Open the valve. Put the free end of the pipe into boiling water.
Slide the slip end of the fitting onto the pipe as far as it will go. The slip end is labeled on each fitting. Adjust the slip fitting. Using a disconnect clip or disconnect tongs, press the release collar on the slip end and slide the fitting back over the adjoining piece of pipe until you reach the insertion depth mark you made.
