6 steering rack problems Hi All, I'm just in the process of buying a Mazda 6 and the last 2 cars I've wanted have both had steering rack issues. It seems the torque sensor was faulty in both cases requiring a replacement steering rack. Both cars had just over 70k on the clock. Intermittently, it almost stalls under acceleration, and the dashboard lights dim. The fuel filter has been changed so that's ruled out. Had both an 06 Mazda6 5-speed manual and an 08 Mazda 6i 5-speed auto. Both ran great to about 110K miles before I got rid if them ( both due to relocating overseas).
